With my Home Office project nearly complete, I've spent some time moving my hosted sites to a VPS host so I can get back the deatailed control I so crave. I have a few BizTron domains so I'm using http://BizTron.net as a primary site until my others are moved from the original hosting service to the VPS DNS service.
There's no reason to blog duplicate information so I'll try to link items of interest if they come up.
Now for the home office stuff. Finished the basement...it only took 18 months...to get 95% done. Owens Corning did there job in about 6-8 weeks, if you count the time to get an engineer to clean up the home builders stairs. Now I have my AMD Quad FX system, with 8 Gigs of RAM, a 28" HD LCD screen, 1.5 Tb internal disk, etc. etc., but that's just the workstation. My Server was moved from upstairs to my new server closet, with an extended USB cable still attached to the all-in-one laser in the study. I think I have everything I need, short of a color laser with Vista 64-bit drivers.
Of course, you should see the theater. XBOX 360 never looked so good as it does at 14 feet, although it's strictly for business meetings.
